Frequently Asked Questions
____________________________________________________________________________
Q: Why does Boeschen Vineyards utilize an Allocation List? A: Boeschen Vineyards is one of the few remaining wineries in Napa Valley that grows 100% of its own grapes, and the result is an extremely limited production of estate wines. Because most wines sell out upon release, the Allocation List guarantees access to new releases while allowing members to select which and how much wine they prefer.
Q: Why should I join the Boeschen Vineyards Allocation List? A: The Boeschen Vineyards Allocation List is the only way to guarantee access to Boeschen Vineyards wines, and at the best possible price (full Allocation List members - with standing requests for Estate Cabernet and Carrera - receive a 10% discount on all shipments, and a 20% discount on single-wine 12-packs). Allocation List members also have much more flexibility than other wine clubs, selecting the size and composition of each shipment they wish to receive.
Q: What if I decide I don't want to be a member anymore?
A: If you should decide to unsubscribe from the Allocation List, simply email us and let us know at any time, as long as it is at least four weeks prior to any scheduled shipment. We do ask for an initial commitment of at least two shipments.
Q: How do I pay for my shipments? A: Registration includes a secure credit card whlch will be charged for the cost of the wines and shipping at the time the wine is released. You will be notified in advance of each shipment. We ask that you keep us informed of any changes to your credit card or contact information.
Q: How much does it cost to join the Allocation List?
A: There are no fees to join the Boeschen Vineyards Allocation List. The only cost is what you pay for each release (two shipments each year). This will vary based on which wines are being released and shipping costs to your location.
Q: When do shipments go out?
A: Boeschen Vineyards wines are shipped upon release. Each year, our spring release includes our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Sauvignon Blanc, and Katie Rosé, while our Carrera Estate Blend and Estate Petit Verdot are released in the fall. The Winchester Reserve has its own optional release prior to the holiday season We will, when necessary, take into account weather restrictions when timing our Allocation List shipments to avoid exposing the wines to excessive heat.
Q: Can I pick my wine up instead of having it shipped to me?
A: Yes. If you would rather pick up your wines at the winery (located in St. Helena, in Napa Valley), you can select that option when specifying your shipment information. We would love to meet you!
Q: Why can't you ship to my state?
A: Many states have legal restrictions that prevent us from shipping directly to customers in those locations. Please contact us if you have any questions about shipping to your state.
